Letters: Voting is not limited to the rich
It is no accident that the main budget cuts submitted by Gov. Phil Bredesen (Feb. 2 article, ” ‘Difficult cuts’ in budget”) were TennCare and The Med. Both of these organizations provide care to low- or no-income people, and these are the same people who do not vote in elections. Please let this be a wake-up call to the disadvantaged to let them know that voting costs no money but not voting …
